How do I load my videos onto YouTube?

• First you need to create an account at www.youtube.com - see details on the YouTube website.
  
  
• Then you need to upload a video. We have added some screen prints below as a guide to help with the upload:
  
  
  • File size: whilst YouTube will allow you to upload videos up to 100MB in size and 10 minutes in duration, we suggest using your video computer software to reduce the file size to less than 10MB to facilitate easy viewing.
    
    
  • Title: We suggest adding the name of the loge in the title e.g. 'Lizards Fighting at Idube Game Lodge'
    
    
  • Tags: These are key words which help people with similar interest to find your video - we suggest having the name of the lodge as one of your tag words
    
    
  • Video Category: We suggest using 'Travel & Events', but you may want to use 'Pets and Animals'
    
    
  • Map Video: The benefit of adding this is that your YouTube video will also appear on Google Earth and people can watch you video from Google Earth if they are looking at that area of the globe. The location for Idube is 24°48'9.11"S 31°24'3.13"E. Copy these coordinates into the Map Video field and hit the Search button.

How do I add my videos to the Idube groups on YouTube?

• Once you have loaded your video onto YouTube, go to the Idube group
  
  
• Once in the group add your video to the group
  
  
• An email will get sent to the group administrator, the video will be reviewed and unless there is any inappropriate footage, the video will be added to the group and submitted as a competition entry.

• First you need to create an account at www.facebook.com - see details on the Facebook website.
  
  
• Then you need to go to the Idube group and upload a video or image.
